Chummy is a social food discovery platform that lets you save restaurants, share recommendations, and see where your friends and family are eating. By creating an account and using Chummy, you agree to these terms.
You may sign in using Google or Facebook. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Chummy. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it.
You can share restaurant recommendations, reviews, photos, and lists. You agree not to post content that is:
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
You own the content you post on Chummy. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the app and in marketing materials. You can delete your content at any time.
Chummy is built around trust. When you follow someone or accept a connection, their recommendations may appear in your feed. You control who you follow and can remove connections at any time from your profile settings.
Some restaurants on Chummy offer loyalty programmes and rewards. These are provided by the individual restaurants and are subject to their own terms. Chummy is not responsible for the fulfilment of rewards offered by third-party venues.
Chummy may facilitate ticket purchases for restaurant events. All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled by the organiser. In the case of cancellation, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
We work hard to keep Chummy online but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for significant changes.
Chummy is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, missed reservations, or disputes with restaurants.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Chummy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
